Government-to-Government
GHANA
CGTS has entered into formal arrangements with Ghanaian public institutions to develop a national training and job placement framework.
As acknowledged by the Ministry of Labour, Jobs and Employment, this framework is intended to support the training and employment of up to seventy thousand (70,000) young people in Ghana on an annual basis, subject to programme design, phased implementation, and regulatory approvals.
The Ghana programme focuses on:
Technical and vocational skills development
Youth employability and workforce readiness
Alignment with Ghana’s labour and employment objectives
Preparation for domestic and international opportunities, subject to regulatory approval
Programme delivery is structured to proceed in phases following institutional clearance and implementation readiness.
BOTSWANA
Skills Development Framework
CGTS is working with public institutions and accredited local partners in Botswana to design and establish internationally aligned skills development frameworks in support of youth employability and workforce readiness.
All Botswana initiatives are currently under development and remain at the framework and planning stage.
Pilot Programme
CGTS has entered into formal arrangements to design a pilot skills programme framework in collaboration with the Construction Industry Trust Fund (CITF).
Programme Activities
Current activities include:
Programme scoping and design
Curriculum alignment with international standards
Institutional coordination and capacity planning
Governance and quality assurance framework development
No training delivery or deployment has commenced.
Programme Status
All Botswana initiatives are currently in the planning, design, and framework development phase. Progression to delivery will occur only once:
Regulatory and institutional approvals are secured
Implementation structures are finalised
Quality assurance and governance frameworks are in place
Training Partnerships
Health & Safety – NEBOSH Framework
CGTS has agreed a framework for cooperation with Kgolagano College and local partners to develop a NEBOSH-aligned health and safety training pathway in Botswana. This framework is intended to:
Build on existing BQA-accredited health & safety qualifications
Align future training pathways with internationally recognised NEBOSH standards
Support employability in construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors
No NEBOSH training delivery has commenced.
Hospitality & Services Training Framework
CGTS has also entered into a framework agreement with Kgolagano College to explore the future development of internationally aligned hospitality and services training programmes in Botswana.
Current focus areas include:
Curriculum mapping and international benchmarking
Delivery model design
Regulatory alignment
Institutional readiness assessment
No hospitality training delivery has commenced.
